Middle QA Engineer (Manual & Automation)

Avantaj Prim is an IT company that develops fintech services and gaming projects for PC, Mobile, and VR/AR platforms.
We are residents of the IT Park, have been operating in the market for more than 20 years, and already have over 100 specialists on our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, and execute manual tests for new and existing features.
• Develop, maintain, and run automated tests (UI and API).
• Create and maintain test documentation: test cases, checklists, and bug reports.
• Actively participate in CI/CD processes, configure and monitor automated test runs.
• Perform API testing using Postman.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to clarify requirements, discuss defects, and improve product quality.
• Conduct reviews of test cases and automated test code written by colleagues.

Technical Requirements (Mandatory):
Manual Testing & Documentation:

• Minimum 2 years of commercial experience as a QA Engineer (Middle level).
• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban).
• Practical experience applying test design techniques: equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis, decision tables.
• Experience in writing and maintaining test documentation.
• Ability to clearly describe bugs and manage them using Jira; experience working with Confluence.

Automation:

• Experience in creating UI automated tests using Selenium WebDriver.
• Practical experience with at least one of the following frameworks:
• Codeception (PHP)
• Playwright (TypeScript)
• Experience testing REST APIs (writing and executing requests) using Postman.
• Experience with version control systems (GitLab/GitHub).
• Basic knowledge of SQL (writing SELECT queries with JOIN, WHERE, ORDER BY to verify data in databases).
• Understanding of JSON and XML structures.

Technical Requirements (Preferred):

• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Knowledge of test automation design patterns (Page Object Model, Page Element).
• Experience working with Docker.
• Understanding of web application principles (HTTP/HTTPS, Cookies, Local Storage).
• Basic knowledge of at least one programming language: PHP or TypeScript.

Soft Skills:

• Analytical mindset and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to plan and prioritize work independently, providing realistic time estimates.
• Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proactive attitude: willingness to ask questions, suggest process improvements, and advocate for product quality.
• Team player with strong collaboration skills and a constructive approach when working with developers.
