Manual QA Engineer

Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Manual QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and quality assurance. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products, working closely with developers to identify and resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual testing.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing on various software applications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Conduct thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Review and analyze system specifications.
• Evaluate product code according to specifications.
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects.
• Report bugs and errors to development teams.
• Help troubleshoot issues.
• Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) standards is a must.
• ISTQB certification is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Manual QA Engineer.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks.
• Experience with a variety of different testing techniques such as UI Testing, Functional Testing, Regression Testing, and more.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
• Strong organizational skills.
• At least 2 years of experience in manual software testing.
