Requirements:

• Experience in accounting or bookkeeping is preferred. You should be comfortable with basic accounting tasks like categorizing expenses, reconciling bank statements, and preparing simple reports.
• Must be confident using Google Sheets, Excel, and Word. You’ll work with spreadsheets and documents regularly.
• Strong attention to detail. Accuracy matters a lot in this role—you need to spot and correct small errors.
• Must be organized and reliable. You’ll need to manage your time well and complete tasks without constant follow-ups.
• Able to maintain confidentiality. You’ll handle sensitive financial data and are expected to keep it private.
• Good written and spoken English is necessary for communication and working with financial documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and categorize daily transactions in QuickBooks for both the car hauling and brokerage divisions.
• Reconcile bank and account statements regularly to ensure everything matches and correct any issues.
• Create and update weekly and monthly financial reports as needed by the management team.
• Organize and maintain all brokerage division paperwork, including invoices, contracts, and payment records.
