Senior QA Engineer (Automation)

Overview:
We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Senior QA Engineer to lead both manual and
automated testing efforts across our product line. This role plays a critical part in delivering
reliable, secure, and user-friendly software for our global medical device platform.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain test strategies, test plans, and reusable test cases.
• Implement and manage automated testing frameworks.
• Perform functional, regression, system, and user acceptance testing.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and UX teams.
• Track and document issues clearly with reproducible steps.
• Participate in shift-left testing strategies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify, record, and track bugs, and verify fixes.
• Participate in sprint planning and retrospectives to improve QA processes.
• Drive continuous improvements in QA tools, processes, and culture.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in QA automation.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
• Proficiency in tools like Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, or TestNG, etc.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with CI tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Experience with API testing (Postman, SoapUI), and performance tools (JMeter, Gatling).
• Strong SQL skills for data validation.
• Familiarity with security and compliance testing (e.g., OWASP, GDPR).
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Comfortable working overlapping hours with Pakistan and US-based teams.
