What you’ll do:
Collaborate with sales & business development teams to identify client needs and identify how Salt Edge’s API solutions can meet them.
Deliver live product demonstrations, organise and hold technical deep-dives to stakeholders including developers, compliance officers, and C-level executives.
Handle RFPs, RFIs, RFX for sales and technical due diligence from prospects.
Translate technical documentation, technical standards into clear business value into sales pitches and during pre-sales engagements.
Respond to inquiries about API integration, UX flows (payments, consents, etc) security practices, deployment types, data storage, any product features, and regulatory compliance (e.g., PSD2, GDPR).
Bridge client requirements with product capabilities, flagging customisation or roadmap needs to Product.
Collaborate with PMs in assisting with the onboarding of new clients by guiding them through technical documentation and sandbox environments to ensure a smooth closing experience.
Track and document client feedback and technical blockers in collaboration with the Product and Technical department.
Audit, develop and maintain, together with product teams, an easy to personalise data base of demo tools: sandboxes, branded developer portals, user flows for use cases, for each prospect sales stage.
What you need:
Must-Have:
3+ years in a Technical Pre-Sales, Solutions Engineer, or similar customer-facing technical role.
Strong knowledge of APIs, data flows, encryption methods, SaaS and developer tooling.
Experience in delivering presentations and demos to senior stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills: able to “translate” between technical and non-technical audiences.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, OAuth, data aggregation, and cloud security concepts.
Comfortable reviewing and explaining documentation like Salt Edge’s API Reference.
Nice-to-Have:
Previous experience working in or with banks, fintechs, or regtechs.
Knowledge of EU/UK Open Banking frameworks, ISO 20022, and consent management practices.
Understanding of how KYC/AML, transaction categorization, and risk scoring are integrated into financial products.
