Senior Delphi Software Developer

Complexica Moldova is searching for a Senior Delphi Software Developer to add to our team of highly skilled software, management, and supply chain professionals. The successful candidate will join a cohesive team of professionals who are also able to work with a high degree of autonomy, using their unique skills to deliver world-class supply chain software solutions to our clients.

We are seeking a Delphi software developer who can contribute fresh ideas and enthusiasm to the advancement of our logistics products, including Terminal Operating System, Transport Management System, Rail Management System, Empty Container Park Management System, and other logistics solutions.

Position Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Management, Business Analysis, Professional Services, and Quality Assurance teams to deliver efficient and high-quality features and functionality.
• Take ownership of product features and lead the design, development, code review, and feature review processes.
• Ensure the technical integrity of development projects in alignment with client requirements.
• Identify and implement solutions for bug fixes and system changes across multiple applications.
• Act as a technology authority in both short- and long-term planning, providing recommendations on technical approaches.
• Provide advanced technical support and guidance during proposal writing, solution design, and implementation phases.
• Supervise and guide junior and mid-level Software Developers.
• Travel nationally on occasion to visit customers and other company offices.
• Work closely with front-end and back-end developers and product managers to deliver software applications.
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to understand product implementation requirements.
• Lead development and ongoing support of applications using a variety of tools and frameworks.
• Provide technical expertise in systems architecture, infrastructure, tools, modeling, and internal and external interfaces.
• Manage client expectations and build strong problem-solving partnerships with clients, partners, and colleagues.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of data mapping, validation, manipulation, and analysis use cases.
• Implement software designs in line with in-house standards and industry best practices.
• Support the Technical Team in delivering flexible solutions that balance business and technical needs.
• Provide second- and third-line product support when required.
• Contribute to process and procedure improvements in line with industry best practices.
• Produce accurate software estimates reflecting development scope and required resources.
• Create clear and appropriate documentation for audiences ranging from technical peers to senior management.
• Act as a role model, offering mentorship, technical guidance, and professional leadership.
• Build effective relationships across all business areas to support communication of technical and business concepts.
• Be willing to step outside defined role boundaries to support the wider technical team.
• Collaborate effectively with remote employees and external consultants.

Skills, Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Delphi Software Developer or in a similar role.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex requirements into measurable test objectives.
• Proficiency in server-side languages such as Delphi, C++, Java, PHP, and .NET.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented and service-oriented development principles.
• Familiarity with IaaS, AWS, and Azure.
• Experience with database technologies including MSSQL, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of microservice architecture, including Spring Boot and Spring Reactive.
• Experience using Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Strong skills in debugging, performance profiling, and optimization.
• Self-motivated with the ability to build and maintain strong business and IT relationships.
• Experience leading, mentoring, and supporting junior developers.
