Data Engineer / Analyst Support Team

DK Hardware is one of the largest online retailers of door and window hardware in the US. We process data from dozens of vendors, marketplaces, and internal systems to keep millions of product listings accurate, up-to-date, and ready for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to integrate data from multiple sources.
• Transform, normalize, and unify data (cleanup, standardization, aggregation) for analytics and business processes.
• Work with PostgreSQL, MS SQL, and ClickHouse databases for data storage and transformation.
• Implement and manage message queue solutions (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS or similar) for inter-system data exchange.
• Automate data ingestion and updates from vendors (API, SFTP, file imports, database connections).
• Create and maintain internal tools for analysts (SQL queries, Python scripts).
• Ensure data quality by removing duplicates, fixing errors, and resolving inconsistencies.
• Maintain documentation for data integration processes and data structures.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or ETL Developer.
• Strong SQL skills (query optimization, complex joins, window functions).
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, MS SQL, ClickHouse.
• Experience with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar).
• Proficiency in Python for data processing (pandas, sqlalchemy, requests).
• Familiarity with data formats: CSV, JSON, XML.
• Experience in data normalization and unification from multiple sources.
• English level: Intermediate+ (for documentation and vendor communication).
