Data Privacy Analyst

Orange Systems is looking for a new colleague to fill in the position of Data Privacy Analyst to work with our International Partners.

The Data Privacy Analyst is a critical role within the Security Operations team and is responsible for ensuring the ongoing management of the privacy management system and responding to subject access requests. The role is also heavily involved in risk management (DPIA’s) and support of information security policies and processes, and to ensure business information systems and processes adhere to privacy policies and standards and comply with regulatory and customer requirements.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate a deep interest in Information Security and Privacy. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has been in the field for a while (3+ years) and looking to take on more responsibilities to develop their career.

what you will be doing:

• Ensure that the company complies with privacy requirements
• Primary responsibilities are management of privacy management system and SARs
• Supporting automation of processes where possible
• Perform ongoing identification of potential risks & probable business impact
• Recommend and initiate controls to protect against identified risks
• Lead data privacy impact assessment
• Responsible for ensuring privacy considerations are met in terms of Data Processors (suppliers)
• Assist in the selection, design, justification, implementation and operation of privacy controls and management strategies
• Promote GDPR awareness across the organization
• Respond to help desk and planned work requests ~ resolve or manage problems of a complex or urgent nature
• To assist in designing and documenting support processes, procedures, and standards and to maintain documentation as directed
• To maintain appropriate records of time spent, actions taken and item status to facilitate management, future problem resolution and to keep users informed of progress

• Any relevant industry certifications (i.e. GDPR lead implementor or auditor) will all be considered
• Excellent knowledge of the Privacy and Security industry
• Knowledge of ISO27001:2022 standard
• Excellent commercial awareness
• Excellent customer communications skills
