Professional Summary

I am a driven student at the Technical University of Moldova (UTM) with a passion for computer science, machine learning, and data science. Through innovative projects like MediScan—an AI-powered diagnostic platform for Moldova—I’ve earned global recognition for delivering impactful, real-world solutions.

I have been a volunteer, member (2018-2022), and coach in robotics at my school for 4 years, where I actively participate in various projects and activities, for example, First Lego League 2019-2024, where we won 1st place at Robo Design in 2022, 1st and 2nd place at Project Research in 2021 and 2023. From 2022, I am participating at Tekwill Junior Ambassadors, where I conquered 1st place at C++ Algorithms in 2022, 1st place at AI, 2nd place at Video StoryTelling in 2024, which inspired me to be in the IT domain.

As a mentor (2022-present), I help prepare and guide the young team members, fostering their interest and passion for robotics and technology, such as First Tech Challenge, where we won the 2nd place in the 1st Demo in the Republic of Moldova.

Informatics:

• 2nd Place in the Qualification for European Junior Olympiad in Informatics (2021) and Membership in Moldova’s National Team at EJOI
• 2nd Place in the Informatics Municipal Olympiad (2024)

During the junior selection for the European Junior Olympiad in Informatics, I committed to mastering complex algorithms and enhancing my coding skills. By employing advanced programming strategies and collaborating with peers, I secured 2nd place and earned a spot on Moldova’s national team at EJOI. Later, in the Informatics Municipal Olympiad (2024), my sustained efforts to optimize problem-solving approaches and refine my technical proficiency culminated in another impressive 2nd place finish, reinforcing my consistency and expertise in informatics.

Artificial Intelligence & Engineering:

• 1st Place / Global Winner at the INTEL AI Global Impact Festival (18+) (2024)

For the festival, I developed an innovative platform—MediScan—designed to tackle critical healthcare challenges in the Republic of Moldova. Focused on providing rapid, accurate diagnoses to underserved communities, I harnessed advanced machine learning techniques, including YOLOv8, to analyze extensive datasets of medical images. This decisive action not only met the competition’s rigorous standards but also propelled me to become the Global Winner in the 18+ category, underscoring my ability to deliver transformative AI solutions on a global scale.

BFMC Competition – Best Rookie & Top 8 (of 78) Finalist (2022–2024)

In 2022–23, our BFMC team reached the finals as the best rookie through meticulous preparation, close collaboration, and innovation. This year, among 78 teams, targeted improvements and continuous learning enabled us to qualify for the finals again, finishing in the top 24.
