Safety Assistant – Trucking Company (USA Operations)

We are a U.S.-based trucking company seeking a Safety Assistant to support our Safety & Compliance operations. This position is fully remote and focused on driver compliance, safety documentation, and internal safety processes.
Basic experience in administrative, logistics, or compliance-related work is required. At the same time, we provide onboarding, internal training, and continuous support to help you grow into the role.

Responsibilities:
Maintain and update driver safety and compliance documentation.
Monitor expiration dates, missing documents, and compliance requirements.
Communicate with drivers regarding safety policies, required documents, and compliance reminders via phone, messaging apps, and email.
Assist with driver onboarding safety procedures and refresher training tracking.
Support internal safety audits and basic compliance checks.
Collect and organize information and documentation related to incidents or accidents.
Update safety trackers and reports in Google Sheets / Excel.
Coordinate with Dispatch and Operations teams on safety and compliance matters.
Escalate urgent or high-risk issues to the Safety Manager when required.

Requirements:
English communication skills (spoken and written) — Intermediate or higher.
Basic or entry-level experience in administration, logistics, safety, compliance, or similar roles.
Strong attention to detail, responsibility, and ability to follow procedures.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Confident PC user: Google Sheets, Excel, email tools.
Willingness to learn U.S. trucking safety regulations (FMCSA/DOT) — training provided.
Ability to work during U.S. business hours.

Schedule:
Full-time position
Working hours: 15:00–23:00 or 16:00–00:00 (Moldova time)
