Senior System Engineer

Orange Systems is looking for a new colleague to fill in the position of Senior System Engineer to work with our International Partners.

Senior System Engineer

what you will be doing:

• Plan, implement, and manage Windows Server infrastructures (from version 2016 onwards) in physical, virtual, and hybrid environments;
• Execute server migrations (Rebuild, Lift & Shift), including planning, coordination, and documentation;
• Administer and optimize Microsoft services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and Certificate Services;
• Lead (sub-)projects in system migration and infrastructure modernization;
• Automate routine tasks using PowerShell and other tools;
• Analyze and resolve complex issues at the 3rd-level support;
• Create and maintain system documentation, operation manuals, and technical concepts.

what we are looking for:

• Completed education or degree in computer science or a comparable qualification;
• At least 5 years of professional experience in Windows Server administration;
• Strong knowledge of server workload migrations and integration of new systems;
• Proven experience in project management, ideally in IT infrastructure projects;
• Proficiency with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V);
• Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell);
• Familiarity with IT security standards and best practices;
• English level B2 or higher.
