Duties & Responsibilities

• Performing finishing operations by finishing by shaping and trimming with hand or power tools.
• Assembling and fastening materials to make frameworks or props using hand tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins, or glue.
• Building or repairing cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, or other wooden fixtures used in buildings, using woodworking machines, carpenter’s hand tools, or power tools.
• Installing structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim, or hardware using carpenter’s hand and power tools.
• Constructing and repairing building frameworks and structures made from wood and other materials.
• Following established safety rules and regulations and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
• Constructing and repairing wooden structures and vessels/ships.
