Key Responsibilities:
Act as liaison between the company and outsourced accounting firm
Coordinate with store managers to ensure timely submission of documents and compliance with procedures
Communicate with suppliers to resolve invoicing, payment, and reconciliation issues
Support Romanian finance team with local reporting requirements
Review accounting entries, reconciliations, and reports prepared by the outsourced provider
Review payroll-related tax and social contribution calculations for compliance
Reconcile cash registers & POS vs. bank and accounting records
Reconcile inventory movements and intercompany balances
Ensure accuracy of supplier and customer balances
Maintain electronic document flow via SharePoint
Keep records of supplier and service contracts; ensure filing and archiving of documents
Candidate Profile:
University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in retail or FMCG
Strong knowledge of Bulgarian accounting standards
Proven experience with reconciliations and financial controls
Experience with outsourced accounting providers is an advantage
Proficiency in Excel; ERP knowledge (MS Dynamics 365 BC) is a plus
Strong communication skills in Bulgarian & English
High attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to work independently
