IT Specialist

Responsibilities:

Lead the implementation and integration of a Transportation Management System (TMS)
Identify and set up AI automation tools to optimize internal workflows (e.g., load tendering, dispatch, invoicing, communication).
Coordinate with vendors, developers, and internal team members to ensure smooth deployment.
Map out and document processes to improve operational efficiency.
Integrate TMS with load boards, carrier systems, accounting, and communication platforms (API/EDI).
Provide technical guidance and training to staff on new systems and tools.
Manage timelines, deliverables, and project milestones.
Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve systems.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, preferably in logistics, freight, or transportation.
Strong understanding of TMS platforms (e.g., McLeod, Rose Rocket, Turvo, Tailwind, or custom solutions).
Experience with AI tools or automation platforms (Zapier, Make, Python bots, OpenAI API, etc.).
Knowledge of system integrations (EDI/API).
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver results on deadlines.
Technical background (IT, software development, or systems engineering) is a strong plus.
Fluent in English (verbal and written).
