We are technology company with an international products that creates tools for online privacy and digital freedom. Our flagship product is VPN Planet, which is used by millions of people around the world every day. Due to the active expanding to the new markets, we are looking for Chief Technology Officer with strong expertise in big corporate companies who is ready to take us to the next level. The position with Employee Stock Ownership Plan.

Practical Areas of Responsibility:

- Oversee global VPN node deployment, load balancing, uptime, and DDoS protection.
- Supervise end-to-end development of Android, iOS, desktop, and browser applications.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines, system monitoring, and continuous deployment strategies.
- Ensure the security and confidentiality of all user data and system components.
- Oversee frontend and backend development for the website, payments, analytics, advertising, and partner APIs.
- Establish technical documentation, coding standards, and internal engineering regulations.
- Manage the engineering team, hiring, mentorship, and performance.
- Maintain high code quality, testing standards, and version control.
- Drive innovation in VPN technologies, including protocol development, optimization, and geoblock bypass research.

Must have competency:
- B2C mobile applications – *required experience*.
- SaaS platforms – *required experience*.

Preffered experience:
- VPN technologies and protocols – strong understanding preferred.
- Desktop applications – experience developing cross-platform apps is a plus.

Key Skills and Competencies:
- Strong background in cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or similar).
- Expertise in system architecture and scaling high-load applications.
- Team management of cross-function, mobile and web development team up to 40 members.
- Solid understanding of network protocols, encryption, and data protection.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and monitoring systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and remote-first team management.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business goals into technical roadmaps.
