Technical Support Analyst (Sage People)

Sage People Support Analyst
Location: On-site
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to:HRIS Manager

Role Purpose
We are looking for a hands-on HRIS Configuration Specialist with proven experience in configuring HR systems, specifically Sage People or similar HR platforms.
This role is focused primarily on system configuration, optimization, and development. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, and enhancing HRIS solutions in line with business requirements.
This is not a pure support role - we are specifically seeking a candidate with strong practical experience in HRIS configuration.Provide system support and ongoing development for the Sage People HR system: administration, issue analysis, configuration, interaction with business users and external vendors. Participate in HR digitalization projects.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support for Sage People: analyze and resolve issues, advise end users
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation for system processes, configurations, and procedures
  • Perform system configuration tasks (permission sets, workflows, custom fields, etc.)
  • Configure and maintain user profiles, role permissions, and approval workflows
  • Build and support reports and dashboards using Sage Reporting and Analytics
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects including testing, data migration, and system rollouts
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders (HR, Payroll, Finance, IT) and external vendors (Sage, implementation partners)
  • Support system integrations (e.g., ATS, payroll, LMS, BI tools)
  • Monitor Sage updates and participate in regular system releases
Requirements

Mandatory (Configuration Experience Required):
  • 1+ years of hands-on configuration experience in Sage People or other HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM)
  • Practical experience configuring workflows, security models, permission sets, business rules, and custom fields
  • Strong understanding of HR processes (org structure, leave & absence, recruiting, compensation, etc.)
  • Experience translating business requirements into system configurations
  • Strong Excel skills and reporting knowledge
  • English - Intermediate level or higher
Highly Preferred:
  • Experience configuring Sage People built on the Salesforce platform
  • Understanding of Salesforce security architecture
  • Experience in HRIS implementation or transformation projects
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, or Service Desk tools
  • Experience supporting HR system integrations
