General Manager

Our clients are a non-profit organization that collects and recycles beverage containers that are subject to deposit. The company has implemented and grown the recycling system in the country and is now expanding, extending its operations nationwide and developing partnerships with manufacturers, importers, and retailers.

Responsibilities:

• Plans and coordinates the company's daily activities, setting clear objectives and motivating the team to achieve them.
• Implements the strategic, operational, and budgetary plan, preparing reports and plans for the supervisory board.
• Monitors financial indicators: balance sheet, cash flow, investments, and cost per packaging unit.
• Represents the company in official relations and transactions, complying with the legal framework and internal regulations.
• Manages relationships with manufacturers, importers, and retailers, ensuring equal treatment and constant information on the company's objectives and results.
• Follows market developments and relevant trends in packaging and recycling.
• Develops and oversees internal control systems to prevent errors and fraud.
• Maintains good relations with government agencies and ensures accurate reporting of collection and recycling data.
• Oversees the procurement, contracting, and sale of collected materials, adhering to principles of competitiveness and internal rules.
• Ensures the confidentiality of sensitive information and respect for competition, without distributing profits to shareholders.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in senior management (GM, CEO, or similar role), preferably in complex organizations
• Solid knowledge of strategic, operational, and financial management
• Experience in coordinating complex teams and projects
• Ability to make quick and effective decisions
• Skills in developing and implementing internal control systems
• Languages: Romanian, Russian, and English
• Willingness to travel for work
• Integrity, results-oriented, and passionate about sustainable projects
